Retain and nurture a knowledgeable and highly professional staff that serves motive with the skill, efficiency, credibility, and empathy in all forms of performing arts.

Engage the organisation constituency in dialogue with artistes and institutions on issues that are of consequence to our region, increasing awareness of opportunities and encouraging idea and insight sharing among the constituency.

Culture - that which is acquired at the place of birth. It is therefore very important to understand and respect our rich culture. And even more important to preserve and promote it. Ranga Taranga, is one organisation which was established to provide a new platform to the talented young generation in the fields of music, dance & drama and promote artists, poets, dancers, musicians, singers and dramatists. Since then Ranga Taranga has been organising events in Kengeri Satellite Town and the city of Bangalore. It has been training people for a brilliant career in the field of Performing Arts.

In order to provide a new platform to the budding and talented young generation in the areas of music, dance and drama Ranga Taranga established a cultural trust. Folk dance-workshops are regularly organized. Music and Dance competitions are organised by Ranga Taranga in collaboration with various schools in Bangalore. Excellence is not only the destination its ambition and goal is to create awareness among society to keep and sustain India's cultural values, heritage and tradition alive. The March is on!   • To bring the people of our land on a common platform of culture and arts and to form a common bond of love and understanding towards World Peace !

  • To Participate in similar activities in foreign countries and to present aspects of our civilization and culture before other countries and invite them in India.

  • To instill in our youth patriotism and yet an international outlook through travel and cultural exchange.

  • To give the golden opportunity to youngsters to meet the whole world at one place in International cultural festivals.

The Soil of Karnataka has always been very rich for its cultural heritage. It has produced many artists, poets, dancers, musicians, singers and dramatists, who have been a source of inspiration for the new generation. Inspite this, most of the young talents often remain unrecognised and undiscovered in the absence of a common and organised a platform. We have been providing children's enrichment programming for the past 20 years and we are proud to have our program in Kengeri Satellite Town, Bangalore and now in the neighboring communities.

It was in the year 1989 when four young artists in the small town of Kengeri were struggling to reveal their existence. When a group of young cricketers were exploring in the field of music, who performed their first stage show at BEL Dakshina Kannadigara Sangha. This is how RANGA TARANGA was born.

This successful experience opened the doors for the following stage plays under the banner of Ranga Taranga:

A cultural exchange with the tribal youth at Nagadevanahalli to promote Adult Education in the village.

Ranga Taranga started a music school in coordination with Mr. Balu Shankar of Raga Sangama in 1991 enriching the experience in the field of music through interactions and sharing of the views and training students in instrumental and vocal classes.

Ranga Taranga has been fortunate enough to be associated and have the blessings of renowned artists like V. Manohar, and many others, who have given enormous strength to our institution.

Ranga Taranga is aware of the potential of film & Television media to support the performing arts and communications. We have been very active in children’s programme in the AIR.

Dance competitions conducted by ICE TV Networks, Being a judge at the competitions conducted by Netaji Krida mathu Saanskrithika Vedike (R).

Akashwani & Doordarshan programmes, Competitions in Ravindra Kalakshetra, performances in Yavanika, rural areas of Bangalore.

Artiste like Mrs. Sunethra, Mr. Madhusudhan, Mr. Shylesh, Mr. Santhosh Yellappa, Mr. S. J. Prasanna, Mr. Tyagaraj, have created a niche in this field of ours.

Performances at Mr. Shankaracharya Vidya Peeta (an orphanage in Kengeri Satellite Town) regularly to interact with the children of the institution and make them feel at home.

Music classes conducted in the field of hindusthani vocal, Tabla, Keyboard, Guitar in Indian music. Introduction through workshops in the field of western music by getting trained professionals.

We at Ranga Taranga are committed to providing quality School Enrichment and Summer Camp programmes for five consecutive years.

Our students are coached by knowledgeable, skilled instructors in a wide array of subjects from Musical Theater, Dance, Karate, Yoga to name a few.
