
Ranga Taranga is
a non-profit cultural organization established in 1989 for
promoting, propagating and nurturing the varied cultural art
forms of India. Since
beginning it started its music shows at platforms of various
levels. Being students with the gift of music all the
members of the group were under 18. Giving their first
performance at the BEL Dakshina Kannadigara Sangha in
Malleshwaram its started its musical journey. Ranga Taranga
has been working in the fields of music, literature and
painting. It is located in Kengeri Satellite Town - a suburb
of Bangalore known for its cultural patronage.
The activities of Ranga Taranga are supported by many
companies. Ranga Taranga is a registered organization with
the support of the Board of Members.
Over the years, Ranga Taranga has conducted several programs
of great musical and cultural relevance. This page would
stream excerpts from several such programs that Ranga
Taranga has organised in the last 18 years. We have been
associated with almost all the schools of Kengeri Hobli. We
have conducted drawing competitions, Fancy Dress
competitions, Singing, Instrumental Shows, Summer camps for
successive five years. We have conducted blood donation
programmes, health check up camps, Talk by Mr. U. V.
Deshpande on the Basics of Music - followed by a rendition
of his compositions (Held on October 2nd at N. N. Party
Hall. 2005) |
